If you live in Seattle and you are a beginning sewer, please join me on Saturday, January 14 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. for “Get Sewing: Just the Basics.” I’ll be at Made Sewing Studio at 8408 Greenwood Avenue North from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. This is a new sewing studio and I have offered to help build up their business.
On the agenda for this session:
1. Learn what basic sewing supplies every sewer needs. The list is shorter than you think! Come before you buy anything, and you will avoid over-spending on things you won’t use.
2. Test drive Made Sewing Studio’s Janome sewing machines and sergers! Come for some helpful supervised play and make a stitching sample.
Session fee is $25. Please RSVP with Made Sewing Studio through this link and mention that Kris Collins of SoundStitches sent you.
If there is enough interest in beginning sewing, we’ll have a follow-up session. If you’re already sewing, will you please pass on the link below to someone who is just beginning? Thank you!
