10-10-10 Reusable Bag Challenge a Success

On October 10, Sew Up Seattle, Sustainable Ballard and the Seattle Public Library hosted a reusable bag challenge. The results: 23 individuals and at least 27 bags made. Quality Sewing and Vacuum provided the Baby Lock machines. The bags will go to the Ballard Food Bank, which needs bags to fill and for clients to take away with them.

I personally helped a little girl and her mom make a bag. That little girl was SO patient with the machine! I also helped another lady make another bag.
