Butterick patterns, 1928

Front cover of a 1928 Butterick pattern book. Found this Labor Day weekend at the Roslyn, WA museum. The book includes detailed desciptions of patterns and also advertisements for sewing machines. As you can tell, I will find something sewing-related anywhere!  Here’s some info on Roslyn, Washington, an old mining town with great history and where part of the series Northern Exposure was filmed. Even if you’re not a fan of cemetery visiting, the Roslyn Ethnic Cemeteries are worth a visit.
