A crush…on fabric

After sending in a few spies, I finally stopped into Fabric Crush myself. This is a small shop in the airy Wallingford Center. The shop has an enviable amount of daylight, and I hope they will soon get more stuff to populate their store. The cute prints are almost all cottons.
I spoke with Hova, who gave guidance on easy patterns to recommend to my clients. Her Amy Butler Barcelona skirt recommendation didn’t surprise me but she gave me a reason: AB patterns give lots of instructions. Inside the pattern I could see what she meant. Hova also recommended another pattern, by a Canadian patternmaker. The name escapes me, but if you’re in the market — and in the area — stop by Fabric Crush at 1815 N. 45th Street, Seattle.  Oh–and grab a Trophy Cupcake from down the hall while you’re there. Blog for more details and hours: http://fabriccrush.blogspot.com/
