Sew Up Seattle Does Aprons

I visit Sew Up Seattle’s monthly sessions periodically. I often don’t complete anything myself but just help a beginner to complete a project. This month’s project is aprons, but people can create or mend anything using their own machines or the few ones available.

If you’re looking for some help, some inspiration, or some free fabric to use, drop by this Saturday, July 31 from 11-1 at Goods for the Planet, 525 Dexter Avenue. Fabric scraps, brought in by the environmentally-conscious, are piling up. There is also a fabric and notions swap at 1. http://sewupseattle.blogspot.com/ and http://www.goodsfortheplanet.com
